Under the Radar Ways to Spark Interest in Your LinkedIn Profile (Part 2)

LinkedIn is an essential tool for building your professional brand. However, many users find the platform's lack of formatting flexibility a barrier to creating content that truly mirrors their individuality and captures the attention of visitors. As featured in my previous post, using special characters—emojis, symbols, and Wingdings—are an excellent first step.

But what if you could take a step further? What if you could enrich your text with familiar word processing features like bolding, underlining, italics, and more?

Currently, LinkedIn doesn’t directly offer that functionality, but it’s not out of reach. I recently encountered a third-party app called Blabigo which makes it easy to incorporate a wide range of formatting options into your LinkedIn content—for free! 😲

Using tools like Blabigo, in tandem with the special characters mentioned earlier, can enhance the appeal of your profile and elevate your professional brand, ensuring you stand out in the vast sea of plain text present on most other LinkedIn profiles.

Curious to see how these enhancements look in the wild? 🤔Visit the About section of my LinkedIn profile (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffrothman/) and let me know what you think in the comments below ⬇️. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
